PERSONAL COACHING

Coaching is a professional relationship with a trained and skilled listener.
It’s about having someone completely focused on helping you achieve whatever goals you are aiming for. My favourite definition is this:
A coach is someone who stands with you and points out things you might not be able to see yet. They steady you when you wobble, cheer you when you succeed and commiserate with you when the going gets tough. And they celebrate you whatever your outer circumstances are.
One client said to me ‘I know you’re a good listener because I find myself more articulate when you’re there.’ This says everything about the benefit of having a coach in your life: they can give you the confidence and support see what’s really good about you so you can live your best and most creative life.
If you can say yes to any of the following then you can benefit from a professional coach.
-
You’re at a crossroads in your life and looking for direction
-
You’re stuck or stalled and don’t know how to move forward
-
You want to reinvent yourself
-
You’re looking for more meaning in your life
-
You want to manage your time better
-
You’re having work/life balancing problems
-
You want to change the status quo at work or at home and create something better
-
You want to get the energy drainers out of your life
-
You want to take better care of yourself
-
You’re looking to overcome obstacles, low confidence and insecurities
-
You want to go back to work after having children but feel unsure about your skill set
-
You want clarity about what you want, why you want it and how to get it
-
You want dedicated time, motivation, encouragement and support from an unbiased party
The Japanese concept of Ikigai can be a great tool for looking at what you want from your life or your work.
Take a look and see where you place yourself on the diagram.
Would you like to be closer to the centre?
What would it take to get there?
